detray one-room schoolhouse

tay and her 2nd grade class dressed up in pioneer clothing for the one room schoolhouse experience. they went all out with the feather ink pens, and made their own tin can lunch pail. of course we had to pack food in cloth (paper towel) because they didn't have baggies, and we couldn't pack a peanut butter sandwich because that was a luxury back then. this kind of stuff is right up tay's alley. she LOVES it! they spent the whole day in this one room and had class as they normally would....just a little different! the kids and i went at lunchtime to visit. tay loved taking us around and giving every little tid bit that she could remember. so cute, yet so dorky!
