swisslane farms

liv had a field trip to the dairy farm. we were able to give baby calves a bottle, check out the milking parlor, and go on a hay (actually straw, we were informed) ride. it was pretty cool. it was a very neat farm i thought! when we were taken through the milking process the lady actually grabbed an utter and sprayed the kids with milk, and then she put her mouth up and squirted some milk in her mouth. not sure what the kids thought about this, but it was pretty funny. at the end we shared a milk and cheese snack. i know i've said this before but it's always fun spending one on one time with my kiddos.
